Job Description
The Business Development is responsible for achieving sales targets, managing the entire sales process and increase the existing client base.
There are two components to this role – one on encouraging home product advertisers to take up our advertising media solutions, another would be to champion and grow the Home Products pillar on Qanvast.
Job Responsibilities
- Identify sales opportunities and prospect clients. You may be required to do (cold) calls, emails and F2F meetups
- Diligently look for new business clients through various mediums such as calls, emails and meetups
- Build and maintain relationships with existing clients
- Establish, develop and maintain relationships with clients, including media and creative agencies
- Work with Account Manager on proposal and present media advertising solutions/marketing pitches to clients
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closure
- Generate sales leads through personal and professional networks
- Strategize and develop business opportunities to reach quarterly revenue targets on media sales
Requirement
- Minimum Diploma or above in Business Administration, Marketing or other related discipline
- At least 2-3 years related working experience in Sales, Business Development or Marketing
- Aggressive, “hunter mentality” and results-oriented mindset
- Persuasive presentation abilities
- Creative and curious mindset to explore and test various content approach
- Strong conceptual thinking, initiatives and hands-on
- Advertising agency experience
Salary is commensurate with experience and commission-based
