Social Media Content Creator


THE ROLE

We are looking for a talented Social Media Content Creator to join our Marketing team and contribute to Qanvast’s overall content strategy.

The ideal candidate is a creative writer with an eye for detail and a keen understanding of how content on social media can be harnessed to meet marketing objectives. He/she should also be an active social media user.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creatively conceptualise and craft social media posts (across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram and their various formats) for organic and paid partnership content
  • Liaise with account managers and/or clients for paid partnership content, to translate briefs into compelling social media posts that drive consumer action
  • Provide engaging copy and work closely with our in-house graphic designers to maximise synergy between static visuals, copy and captions
  • Work with in-house videographers in conceptualising, storyboarding, and producing social-friendly videos
  • Keep up to date with social media trends
  • Pitch and implement new content ideas/strategies for increased social media engagement

*Note: this role will frequently involve external shoots, sometimes 2-3 times a week

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1 – 2 years of social media content creation and/or short-form copywriting experience in an agency or in-house capacity
  • Strong command of the English and fluent in Mandarin
  • Ability to pick out key messages (at times technical) and bring them across in easily digestible and impactful ways for homeowners who use Qanvast
  • Experience in scriptwriting and storyboarding for short-form videos preferred 
  • Working knowledge of social media creation tools such as Canva and CapCut
  • Agility to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Adaptable and is a team player
  • Confident in interviewing external parties/clients
